Noah Syndergaard u4.5ks, 1u @ -110 BetMGM:  Syndy takes on the Reds today and hasn't been a strikeout pitcher in years.  Syndy also is only averaging under 5 innings a start on the year between his time in LA and Cleveland.  Even if Syndy strikes out 1 hitter an inning (which would be a much higher rate than his 5.7K/9 on the year), he would have to go deeper in the game than he averages on the year.

Astros ML, 1u @ -124 Fanduel:  The Marlins offense has quietly woken up recently.  Scoring 5+ runs in the last three games.  However, they're facing future first ballot hall of famer, and still dominate Justin Verlander today while they're pitching Jesus Luzardo, who has allowed 7, 4, and 4 ER in his last three starts.   

Pirates F5 +0.5, 1u @ -135 Draftkings:  The Pirates are kicking off our slate today, playing at 1pm ET.  They have Johan Oviedo on the bump vs. the Mets and Tylor Megill.  Megill is rocking a 5.64 ERA and has allowed 5, 5, and 4 ER in his past four starts, with the longest lasting 5.1 innings. Oviedo on the other hand has been solid for the Pirates this year, and despite a rocky start last time out has pitched to a 4.42 ERA on the year.  We love the value of this since a tie after 5 would cash this bet

Dodgers/Mariners ML, 1u @ +116 Draftkings: Both these teams are playing teams that have far less talent on both sides of the ball.  The Mariners take on the Royals whose starter is making his first career start, while the Dodgers take on the Brewers and journeyman Wade Miley.  Both the Dodgers and Mariners have their aces on the mound in Clayton Kershaw and Luis Castillo respectively which is why we're loving this play.

Rangers/Braves ML, 1u @ +122 Draftkings.  Like the previous parlay, both these teams are facing an inferior team.  The Rangers, on the midst of a 12-2 run are taking on the reeling Angels, who have Reid Detmers and has 5+ ERA starting.  Meanwhile, the Braves are looking to sweep the Yankees, and have high spin righty Charlie Morton starting for them vs. the rookie Randy Vasquez for the Yankees.  Morton is the exact pitcher the Yankees struggle against.
